As you will find out I am the type of person that will hunt out a deal and am willing to try a product or service that not many others will use. Since Bugger Bear is starting to crawl we decided that we needed to purchase gates for the house. Knowing that they were going to be expensive I thought that I would try and save some money and hunt out a gate that would work and buy it online and try and find the best price.  I found a website called www.diapers.com I will let you know that I ordered the three gates and they arrived within 48 hours later. The price I paid online was $140 and that included shipping. The order showed up and the company had shipped me two of the wrong gates. So I contacted the company with one call and only one press of the button and not one that wanted to know if I wanted it in English or Spanish just if I wanted to place a new order or had a question about an existing order and I was talking to one of there customer Service Representatives. The Gentleman on the phone corrected the order and shipped out the correct two gates and told me that he would have UPS stop back by the house and have them pick up the packages at no charge. I was extremely happy not having to lug three kids to the UPS store to ship something back that was not my fault. The Gates that I ordered were the REGALO Extra Wide span gates and if i was just ordering the standard gate this would have been a great product but since I had to add every extension that they offered the product would not stand a toddler pressing up against it without it buckling and falling apart. I contacted the Customer service representative and explained everything and he is having the two corrected gates re-routed back to the warehouse and then he asked if I wanted to have the gate that I was re-turning either picked up by UPS or for me to take them into a UPS Shipping store... Hello who want's to lug three kids anywhere in this Texas Heat... Not this guy so they are picking everything up here. I have a feeling as a website I will be ordering something from there again. I have zero complaints with there service. So as a continuation to my goal of supported stores and places to shop this place earns a 5 Star rating.  And if anyone else has had good bad or any stories relating please feel free to share your experiences here I want this not only to be about my experiences but also yours.

Daddy Style

      Ok I am wanting to start this blog as something to add to my day I guess. I am a stay at home dad who at one point only a few short years ago worried only about me and what I was going to do that day and now you can say that the life that I once lived is no longer. Now that may seem that I am complaining and for the most part I am not. I have a wonderful wife who i will call "Sugar Momma"  an awesome boy who is 5 years old who will be referred to as "bubba" a beautiful "baby girl" and yes she will always be my baby girl who is 3.5 and then the newest addition to the family "Bugger Bear" who is already 6 months old.    
      Now I returned home from being in Afghanistan for 3 years and as one might find out putting 3 kids in daycare to go find a job is just ridicules. Finding out what daycare rates were my wife and I decided that it was best that I stay home and watch the kids and that she would work since she already had the job of her dreams as a Nurse. So I accepted the challenge and that is where this blog is going to pick up. I have been at this stay at home Daddy, Butler, Concierge, you name it I probably do it for about 5 months. I am responsible for the maintenance of the house inside and out the kids being fed and sometimes clothed, grocery shopping and a few other mindless task. Now It might sound that I am complaining but with this blog you will come to realize that I am enjoying it. Hey it beats living in a tent with 7 other guys sleeping 4 feet away from you on any day.
      So now that you have a little bit of background I will let you know that this blog is going to have tips for other dads on things that i have learned and  trips we have taken and ways to save money in different areas. Some of my ideas and things are useful for you mom's out there but hey we all know......you already knew how to do it you were just trying to teach us dads how to do it ourselves....          This is the start of Doing it Daddy Style I hope you like it and please pass the word about it I will try to add something each day or every few days to keep it up to date.
